Melanie is an artist based in Colorado who adds a colorful and whimsical touch to upcycled art. Inspired by the vibrant wildflowers of the Rocky Mountains, she established Wild & Flower Studio, an artistic workshop dedicated to transforming everyday items into imaginative pieces that bring joy and smiles to everyone who encounters them. With a strong passion for sustainability and a unique, inventive style characterized by bold colors, playful patterns, and vivid bouquets, Melanie assembles original, distinctive, and delightful creations.
The artwork produced at Wild & Flower Studio features a variety of upcycled and repurposed materials, including glass containers, antique vases, perfume bottles, candle holders, salt and pepper shakers, picture frames, metal wire, and remnants of felt, ribbon, and fabric. For more than 20 years, Melanie has harnessed her talent for discovering and incorporating hidden treasures into cheerful designs that are sold and shipped to people worldwide. Her work is showcased in local stores and featured at numerous annual art shows and events throughout Colorado.
